There are many categories of hazards that might be encountered in a laboratory setting, and situations can change frequently. Even after you have identified and controlled all current risks, it is critical that you remain open to the possibility that new unexpected dangers can arise. Periodically verify the hazards are required. All employees who work with hazardous chemicals must be apprised of the hazards of chemicals present in their work area. This training must be provided before initial assignment and before new exposure situations. Personal protective equipment necessary for the safe handling of hazardous substances must also be provided. Employees who work with chemicals in laboratories must be trained on the Laboratory Standard. Additional training is required when new exposure situations arise. Such situations include the use of new chemicals, greater quantities of chemicals, and different procedures.

Beliau sangat berpengalaman dalam Kesehatan Kerja (Health) selama hampir 30 tahun. Pendidikan formal beliau didapat dari Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Airlangga pada tahun 1979, dan Magister of Science dalam Kedokteran Okupasi dari Bagian Ilmu Kesehatan Masyarakat, Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Indonesia (2004), beliau juga sering mengikuti berbagai training baik itu di dalam maupun di luar negeri yang berkaitan dengan Kesehatan dan Keselamatan Kerja. Perjalanan Karir beliau sebagai praktisi kesehatan kerja dmulai sejak tahun 1982 – 2005, dimana beliau pernah mengemban jabatan sebagai Chief Medical Officer pada PT. Ekspan Kalimantan dan kemudian menjadi Occupational Health   & Industrial Hygiene Coordinator pada PT. Medco Energy E&P. He is one of senior consultant of PT. Phitagoras Global Duta with deep experiences in providing many training and consultancy in laboratory quality management system based on  ISO/IEC 17025 and quality system based on (ISO 9000) since 1998.  His formal education is Chemistry and Chemical Engineering.
His  professional carreer began with joining Dow Chemical Indonesia (1992 – 1994), PT. Polytama Propindo (1994 – 1998), dan PT. Australian Laboratory Services Indonesia (1998 – 2005).  Recently, he gives many training and consulting services to help industries, organizations, government institutions, laboratories, and other business sectors in implementing Quality Management System based on ISO/IEC 17025, among them are:  PT. Corelab Indonesia,   PT. Australian Laboratory Services Indonesia and the European Union – TSP Project in the Indonesian Ministry of Marine Affair & Fisheries.
He is also one of the members of the Technical Sub-Committee for the Preparation of Indonesian National Standard in the field of  Environment in the Indonesian  Ministry of Environment and he is also an  ISO 17025 Certified Assessor.

Uncertainty in measurement, now becomes a crucial parameter for laboratory testing or calibration results. So many training provided out there introducing laboratory people to the concept of the UNCERTAINTY, many of the trainees say the training gives  the UNCERTAIN output.  We learnt from the experiences and we will not give you the UNCERTAINTY but we will give the CERTAIN TRAINING of the ESTIMATION MEASUREMENT UNCERTAINTY. Besides, many industrial sectors strictly applied the uncertainty parameter as their requirement. So, for the labs want to achieve the capability of providing uncertainty of measurement, our training program is the right answer.
